About Marina Lanzarote

Marina Lanzarote is Calero Marinas’ third and most ambitious project, providing a tremendously important nautical centre for the island’s capital Arrecife and a vibrant marine destination for this strategic location in the Canaries.  One of Lanzarote’s most famous writers, Augustín de la Hoz, once wrote that “Arrecife was born first a port and then a city”. This was indeed the case with commerce and visiting trade finding access through the well fortified Puerto Naos where Marina Lanzarote is now positioned.
Arrecife now welcomes thousands of visiting boats every year and as such Marina Lanzarote offers a dignified welcome with a new and well-equipped shipyard, echoing the city’s primary role.
The Canaries’ history as a maritime hub and reputation as a warm, leisure destination inspired the Calero family to embark on an exciting programme, leveraging the islands’ existing infrastructure to develop a series of top-level nautical facilities across the archipelago. Calero Marinas have managed to win the respect of the sailing world, providing the opportunity to share the Canaries’ superb quality of life and tremendous accessibility.
